SKIP & DIE + DE JONGENS DRIEST

Afro-electrobeat with sharp tongued lyrics.

What is Skip & Die? That’s a question that will lead to further confusion when answered by themselves: ‘A kaleidoscopic party on the thin line between life and death’ is their response. To put a face on it we would label it: afro-electrobeat with a spark of  craziness and a fair share of  criticism.

Skip & Die, founded by the South-African singer and visual artist Cata Pirata and the Dutch musician and producer Jori Collignon, has made major steps taking it to the max at their performance at Lowlands and at Paradiso during the Amsterdam Dance Event.

Over an amazing view and a ‘spark, a beat, a song’ Skip & Die was born. Inspired by journeys all over the world and experiences shared with other musicians the duo created their baby ‘Riots in the Jungle’ that was released last Oktober under the Crammed Discs label.

With this new Skip & Die album they will be performing at Paard van Troje accompanied by their support act; De Jongens Driest. What happens in Paard van Troje stays in Paard van Troje, so if you are curious come join us and live the experience!
