Stubborn Rap
Sevn Alias is born 19 years ago in Amsterdam West, lives in Almere, represents Rotterdam Airlines and raps with a Moroccan twist. He has a featuring with Ali B, Hef and SBMG, but is beyond all a passionate solo artist of ruthless trap music like it is made in Atlanta. But then a little bit more idiosyncratic and darker.
The best rapper of the moment
With his first mixtape Twenty Four Sevn and the hit Ma3lish, Sevn got the fame he deserves. The song Ma3lish got the most votes for the award ‘Most deserving pokoe of 2015’, above the tracks of Fresku, Hef, Lil’Kleine and Ronnie Flex. His session at 101Barz was in the meantime the best viewed session ever of the successful hip-hop station. Rotjoch (101barz) and Kees de Koning (Top Notch) calls Sevn Alias already the best rapper at the moment.
2016: the year of Sevn Alias
But that was only the beginning: 2016 is the year of Sevn Alias. According to VPRO 3voor12 was his show at Noorderslag the highlight of the showcase festival. His second mixtape Twenty Four Sevn 2 has more than a million streams on Spotify and Youtube. Sevn Alias had several shows at the biggest festivals: Paaspop, Best Kept Secret, Woo-Hah and Lowlands. He stole the show at the festivals with his rapid flow, strong stage performance and awesome tracks. Besides that Sevn works in the meantime on his debut album.
