Roxeanne Hazes performs for more than ten years already. A decennium in which she makes Holland and Belgium happy with the music of her father Andre Hazes. But like father like daughter: she wants to sing and make her own music as well.

When she was just 14 years of age she wrote songs for the album of her brother Dre Hazes. Two years ago, she started writing songs for herself and you can easily recognize the unique writing style of Roxeanne. ‘’I realized I needed a new outlet for my creative ideas, a place where I could put my ideas and feelings. My father’s music has always been my basis, and with my own music I can now show a different side of myself’’.

Earlier this year she released the beautiful ‘Ballade van de Moord’ with Thijs Boontjes Dans- en Showorkest. Besides her busy solo career  she played five shows in a packed ZiggoDome full of Andre Hazes Fans. She also released her own single ‘Ik Was Toch Je Meisje’ and it is well received on Dutch Radio. We can be sure to say we will hear much more of this brunette!

She maybe has a fragile, girl like appearance, but don’t let this fool you! Singer/Songwriter LAKSHMI – full name Lakshmi Swami Persaud – is a feisty young lady that knows what she wants. In her music you hear a mix of poetic lyrics, dark strings and mighty synths. It’s like a triangular relationship between Lana Del Rey, Warhaus and Massive Attack.
