Robert Roy Raindorf is no stranger to the music world. In the 1970s, the Ghanaian great scored several hits — including his track Make It Fast, Make It Slow — which was later used as a sample by artists such as J Dilla and Camp Lo. In his songs we also hear his great fondness for artists such as James Brown and Otis Redding. On January 20, 2023, this Funk master can be seen in PAARD, together with Oslo’s own Flammer Dance Band.

This heavy Afro psychedelic outfit is being run by a bunch of former breakdancers who, years ago, have been perfecting their moves by rocking and popping to Rob’s Afro funk. For them, this collaboration is a dream come true. The energetic 7-piece is all about vintage synths, space out effects, hip shaking grooves, and headbanging breaks! Tight ass rhythm, and quality musicianship, with the freedom, spontaneity and energy of a jam band.
