Magic the Gathering enthusiast and amateur chef Owen Evans’ solo project “Roar” encapsulates nostalgia in compelling melodies and arrangements. Evans has been working on his musical journey since 2006, with an epic debut and three full-length albums, including “Diamond Destroyer of Death” (2021). Inspired by the 1960s and synth music, Roar creates a world where Hollywood stars, robots and fairies come together to tell stories of love and hope. Evans’ crooning over bass lines and synth arpeggios takes listeners on a dynamic, sentimental journey. Roar offers a sonic experience that connects with the deepest emotions, a true exploration for the soul. On 14th of september, 2024 he will perform in the Kleine Zaal!
