POP PUNK FESTIVAL

Sunday 1 April 2018 2018

Benefit night for the Stichting Opkikker foundation.

The Stichting Opkikker foundation takes care of an unforgettable day for long-term sick children. During this day full of pleasure and distraction, they don’t only spoil the sick kids, the family gets spoiled too. Afterwards the family receives a picture and video so they can relive the day. Of course, Paard wants to contribute and organizes a festival in collaboration with the Stichting Opkikker foundation with among others Bounds of Modesty and The Positives.

Line up

Bounds Of Modesty

With influences from bands like My Chemical Romance, blink-182 and Thirty Seconds To Mars, this is a real pop punk band. The four-men from Amsterdam go back to the 80s and 90s to create raw, rough and energetic covers of your favorite Top 40 songs. A night you’ll never forget.

Lights Out

The purpose of these purebred punkers is to bring back old punk in the pop music from nowadays. Catchy melodies and shrill guitars finish off their sound. All your memories of pop punk bands like Green Day and Sum 41 are coming back while you’re dancing and jumping around the music of Lights Out.

The Hearted

The in 2011 founded Rotterdam pop punk band will overwhelm you with energy. They hit a new road with the male and female lead vocals, melodic guitars and energetic drums. You can hear influences of among others Blink-182, State Champs, Neck Deep and A Day To Remember. The band has a new formation since 2017, which brings a new sound. The Hearted is busy writing new songs, you can expect their new single ‘Ink and Feathers’ this spring. It is going to be a good year for this band. Expect catchy pop punk.

The Positives.

The Positives: they are young, fresh and brash. After their band was formed in 2016, the boys of The Positives wrote new songs and recorded their first EP. They hit a new musical road. They can be described best as a combination of pop punk and indierock.
