It is impossible not to move during a performance of Pokey LaFarge. The band blows up the roof with rag time, swing and other rock ‘n roll. And don’t forget the soul, bluegrass and country. Even the tearjerkers have such a contagious rhythm, that the first visitor will move within seconds. In May 2017 the last album was released ‘Manic Revelations’ and on June 4th the King og Midwestern swing will perform in Paard!

Being the best in town is nothing new for Meschiya Lake. Even more than two decades ago at the age of nine when both the town and Lake were much smaller. Looking back, it’s no surprise that when a precocious nine year old Lake hit the stage for a singing contest at a Rapid City, South Dakota, steakhouse, she already believed that she belonged. At June 4th she will support Pokey LaFarge!
