Astrid Tan
She was raised in a sleepy town called Rijswijk. Writing songs when she is alone in her room is what she loves the most. When she was 7 years old her mother sent her to take piano lessons. She had to drag her there every Thursday afternoon. She loved playing the things she liked. In high school she sang in a cover band she set up with a few friends. They called it ‘Sushi One’ and it was then that Astrid Tan discovered the rush of performing on stage. She has always written a lot of things down: Poems, lyrics, stories, diaries, to- do- lists (my short term memory needs improving). And tonight she performs at paardcafé
