Support: The MaybellenesSára HélèneSára Hélène, pop/R&B project of vocalist/songwriter/lyricist Sára Hélène Bori and bass player/producer Dávid Szedlár is the realization of the ideas of two different but highly cooperative musical minds.The two met while studying at a pop music institution, the K?bánya Music Studio in Budapest, Hungary. The musical partnership led to a collection of songs with soft vocals and honest storytelling combined with groovy, R&B sounds and out of the ordinary production techniques. In 2011 they received consent from highly appreciated Dutch poet, Mischa de Vreede to set her poem ‘Liefste’(1959) to music.
In the summer of 2014, they finished working on the album, titled Fragments. The album includes songs that they wrote 4-5 years ago, but also tunes that were born in the year 2014. The lyrics speak about love, soul-searching, personal artistic dilemmas, universal problems, some of the songs lift the mind and some hurt a little, but they all tell a story. As for the production, Dávid uses exciting, groovy arrangements that create a new and interesting musical world.
