Paardcafé: Rjay

Rjay will be performing at Paardcafé with his own showcase, *Can’t Stop*. The artist from The Hague will present an energetic live show in which rap, R&B, and Afro fuse into a mysterious, provocative, and captivating sound. With his signature sense of style and powerful presence, Rjay delivers a show where music, personality, and experience come together.

Rjay is an artist from The Hague with Surinamese roots, born and raised in The Hague, the city that continues to inspire him. Surrounded by dancehall, hip-hop, and reggae from a young age, his love for music grew into creating his own tracks: a powerful mix of rap and vocals. In 2023, he won the major Noah’s Ark Demo Judging Spectacle, where he was named Best Emerging Artist of the Year. His sound is energetic, rhythmic, and atmospheric—pure urban energy.
