The Negativland project started in 1980, creating recordings, CDs, visual art, books, radio and live performances. The supergroup uses appropriated sounds, images, objects and texts. The multidisciplinary group stimulates, enthuses and surprises with an act that sharpens all senses.

Think about making a mood board, but one that is not limited to images alone. Since 1991, British artist Vicki Bennett has been working on audio-visual collages using sampling and other existing image and sound fragments. Under the name People Like Us, Vicki manipulates and recreates the original image she derives from the experimental and popular worlds of music, film and radio. In 2006 she was the first artist to gain unlimited access to the entire BBC archive.
