The line-up again contains many surprises in addition to a number of established names. The festival takes place in the halls of pop venues PAARD and In het Koorenhuis, and is a collaboration between Good Music Company, PAARD and Projazz with support from the Municipality of The Hague and various funds.
The first batch of names already bodes well: We will open the festival with a curated duo of American jazz royalty bassist Christian McBride and pianist Jason Moran and we will end the festival with the only 2021 show by UK jazz-afrobeat sensation KOKOROKO.
In between is a full program in which you can experience the contemporary edges of jazz and electronica with, among others, Yussef Dayes, John Ghost, Arthur Hnatek, SWIMS.
In the meantime, immerse yourself in our focus on the Berlin and Helsinki jazz underground, including Y-OTIS and Timo Lassy x Teppo Mäkynen.
Or be surprised by the intimate Dutch debut of singer Sasha Keable or the overwhelming Ensamble Grande by Mexican vocalist Fuensanta Méndez.
