Sanguineous. That is the best way to describe the Welsh-Greek singer Marina Diamandis. With her band Marina and the Diamonds, she plays colorful synthpop. She already released two albums: The Family Jewels (2010) and Electra Heart (2012). With the first, she already attracked big audiences in the UK and with the second album the rest of the world was convinced as well.
The third record was released single by single, which kept the curiosity about the total called ‘Froot’ growing. Marina describes the album as a more grown up, less cynical and happier whole. She is inspired by new wave, disco and sounds more raw than before. This summer, she anounced her Neon Nature Tour, for which she will also swing by in The Hague.
