Pure country blues from a Mississippi-man, the son of the renowned producer and musician Jim Dickinson.
Don’t forget to check out his new, third album ‘Blues & Ballads’ in which the honky tonk piano, uplifting banjo and mighty B3 Hammond are regularly present.

Maurice van Hoek
Maurice writes songs about his life as a traveler, wanderer and all the problems he meets in relationships and friendships. In his journey traveling the United States he found his style. His debut record contains songs about falling in love madly but having to let go and about moving on. About seeking adventures and making swift decisions. He’s mostly influenced by classic Country and Americana music such as James Taylor and the Eagles, but also from modern-day songwriters such as Ryan Adams.
