KOVACS

Soulful vocals, dark tones and a distinctive sound

Friday 5 February 2027

Sharon Kovacs is a singer with a dark, soulful voice and a truly unique sound, influenced by greats such as Betty Davis, Etta James, Tina Turner, and the melancholic tones of Amy Winehouse, Shirley Bassey and Portishead. She broke through internationally in 2014 with the EP My Love, a European hit partly recorded in Cuba. In the second half of 2026, her long-awaited new album will be released, in which electronic music will be used as a solid foundation for the first time. Influences from Berlin industrial techno and early 1970s electronic music merge with her signature soulful sound, resulting in a familiar, nostalgic yet fresh and intriguing sonic experience that underlines her evolution as one of Europe’s most distinctive voices.

On February 5, 2027, Sharon Kovacs will perform live at PAARD.
