Jay-Way was praised right after the release of his first solo-project ‘’Jaynalysis’’ in 2015. He won ‘Best Rapper’ at the Glint Awards, was Encore Freshmen of the year and his song ‘Happen dappen’ was streamed more than 100.000 times in the first week of the release and has over 2 million (!) sreams on this very moment. He collected lots of more awards and we expect he will keep them coming. Especially now his newest EP ‘Teen Gohan’ will be out this summer. We can’t wait…

It was clear from the second Jay-Way entered the hip hop scene: this rapper is different. No tracks about sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll, but about his journey as an artist in honest lyrics. And although the 24-year-old rapper is Dutch, he raps in English. His goal is to spread a positive message and he is doing well. Jay-Way: ‘’I wrote a song to ‘diss’ someone and send it to him. I was surprised with his loving reaction.’’ At that moment, the rapper knew you shouldn’t fight evil with evil. Nowadays, he has a growing fanbase and he opened shows for huge names as KRS-One, Obie Trice and Rejjie Snow. At September 30th he is performing at our stage in Paard, good vibes! <3
