Jan Akkerman is most definifely one of Holland's most renowned guitarists of all time. Apart from his role in international groups such as Brainbox and Focus, Akkerman worked with a big variety of artists, such as BB King, Charlie Byrd, Cozy Powell, Claus Ogerman and Ice-T. Last year he turned 70: reason enough to throw a birthday party. At Paard.
