Raised in Georgia and now living in North Carolina, Jake Xerxes Fussell has developed into a dedicated folk performer. He has released five studio albums, starting with his debut on Paradise of Bachelors in 2015. His most recent album, When I’m Called, was produced by James Elkington, with contributions from the likes of Blake Mills, Joan Shelley, and Robin Holcomb. Pitchfork wrote that no other American singer breathes new life into old folk traditions with as much authority and ingenuity.

Since his debut album in 2011, Nathan Salsburg has been considered one of the most unique acoustic guitarists of his generation. He draws inspiration from the folk music of the American countryside and folk artists like Dick Gaughan, Dolly Collins, and Nic Jones. He has now released 8 albums and regularly collaborates with other artists, including Jake Xerxes Fussell, for whom he gets to open the evening!
