Unfortunately we had to cancel this show because of the Corona measures. The ticket buyers receive mail.

Everybody in The Netherlands knows Jack Poels as the extremely sympathetic singer of the folkband Rowwen Hèze. After 35 years of being a musician, Poels releases his first solo-album Blauwe Vear. No jigging, no drunken ramblings and no polka, but americana and folksongs (in the typical Limburg dialect). Songs which tell stories and breath sincerity. Songs that touch and emote. Also will the singer add some personal favorites to the show.

Why the album is called Blauwe Vear (Blue Feather) is explained by the singer: “The day my son left for is studies in South-Korea, I found a feather of a jay in a mudpool. It was not only a great specimen, finding a blue feather has also a special meaning: think back to what you where thinking of the day you found it. From that moment on there was no stopping me. The blue feather was a trigger for me to keep writing this album.”

“ 'Jack is een klassieke romanticus die de onvervulde verlangens koestert die niet vervuld moeten blijven.' “

Tren van Enckevort (accordeonist Rowwen Hèze)
