Brexit, Trump. No one could see this coming. Neither could Joris Luyendijk. Due to the time he spent in the explosive Middle-East and his journey through the merciless finances business, he lost his faith in the government. Yet, these developments surprised him. How is that possible?

Luyendijk realizes he’s been living in a bubble. Because of this bubble, he could not see what was happening outside of his own, little world. During this lecture, he’s going to challenge this comfort zone in the form of that bubble and he will pop yours, as part of the audience, as well.
