Hip hop legend Grandmaster Flash is coming to PAARD. The pioneer from The Bronx was the first hip hop DJ to cut, scratch and mix and without that, the beats you hear nowadays wouldn’t be the same. The well-known song ‘The Message’, which he made with The Furious Five, was proclaimed to be the most influential hip hop song ever by Rolling Stone Magazine. Without GMF, hip hop would be different. His last concert in 2018 in PAARD was sold out and rightfully so, because this man knows how to get an old skool hip hop party started.

Grandmaster Flash performed with The Furious Five who were induced in the Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame. Apart from that, the DJ was also known for influencing artists such as N.W.A., Jay Z, Lil Wayne and Rage Against The Machine.

At the age of sixteen DJ Rockid started turntablism and he never stopped. The DJ with an obsession for scratching participated in the worldwide renowed DMC-championships, and with success, the first price went home with him five times. After a short adventure in electronic music DJ Rockid is back where it all started; hiphop. In 2008, 2017 DJ Rockid did the support for Grandmaster Flash as well, so it isn’t more than logical that he is the support this time.
