Froukje wrote the entire album herself and produced most of it on her own. She worked with 22Ghosts on the final touches. It’s both personal and polished—two qualities that rarely clash in Froukje’s work. Singles like “Iedereen Gaat Vreemd” and “Jaar Na Jaar” give a good idea: fresh, confident, and with the ease of someone who knows exactly what she’s doing. Her debut album “Noodzakelijk Verdriet” debuted at #1 in the Netherlands and Belgium, became the most-streamed album in the Netherlands in 2024, and earned her the Edison Award for Best Album. Together with S10, she played two sold-out Ziggo Dome shows and two AB concerts in November 2025; their EP ‘Frok & Stien’ was streamed over 50 million times. Previously, Froukje has performed on the main stages of Pinkpop, Lowlands, Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, and Down The Rabbit Hole.
