Back in Business
EPMD is a prominent east-coast originated hiphop duo. The group’s name is an acronym for “Erick and Parrish Making Dollars”, referencing both members: rappers Erick Sermon (aka “E Double”) and Parrish Smith (aka “PMD”). In 1988 the group released their first album with one of their biggest hits to date: Strictly Business. EPMD has constantly seperated themselves from other artists by mainly getting their inspiration from funk and rock.
We Mean Business
In 2008 the duo reunited after mainly focussing on their solocareers for a while. With the reunion came their seventh album ‘We Mean Business’. The duo has been performing all over the world ever since.
