ELECTRIC LADY: ODE AAN HENDRIX

Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 at age 27. Tonight we memorise his life with a hallucinogenic ode to the guitar hero. Special translations and adaptations of his own hits and materials inspired by Hendrix and addressed to: the myth and style icon of the sixties.

During this concert Beatrice tells short backstage stories, written by Thomas Verbogt his flamboyant life in the 60’s full of drugs, groupies, electric ladies, sex and his mysterious death. O.a Foxy Lady, Little Wing, Crosstown Traffic, The Wind Cries as surprisingly unpredictable, ecstatic, sensual, psychedelic sound-poetry with great respect for the original. The video projections create a hallucinatory effect.
