DUSTY STRAY

DUSTY STRAY, based in Amsterdam, showcases the alt-folk repertoire of Texas expat Jonathan Brown. He explores universal themes of heartache, loneliness, and death with a twisted sense of humor and a soothing touch.

The songs are deeply rooted in all things Americana (thanks to Brown’s Texan upbringing and musicality), but they constantly reach for new horizons, whether through toy instruments, electronics, space echoes, or outsider art. The musical roots of his ancestors are combined with sounds and visions of the future.
