Claude was therefore nominated for a Top 40 Award in the ‘Best Newcomer (National)’ category, for an Edison in the ‘Newcomer’ category and for two 3FM Awards. He eventually won the 3FM Award for ‘Best Newcomer’ and was named a 3FM Talent. Since the release of ‘Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot)’, Claude has been one of the most sought-after upcoming artists in the Netherlands. His first official performance was at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. A start many an artist would only dare to dream of! In addition, Claude was announced as the support act for world star Stromae, with whom he would perform three times at the Ziggo Dome. Unfortunately, Stromae’s arrival has been temporarily postponed. However, the singer did get to support Suzan & Freek at their shows in the Ziggo Dome. During 538 Koningsdag, Claude performed for 40,000 partygoers in Breda. He also gave a special performance at the Concert on the Amstel on Liberation Day, where none other than the Royal Couple sang along to his song.
