With ‘Lotte, mon amour’ she brings an ode to Lotte Reiniger, a pioneer of the animation movies, who made little gems with light and shadow. The enchanting power of these movie gems was fully appreciated by the delicate, fairylike and sometimes omnious sounds of Ott her music.

Christine Ott is a French pianist. She became famous because of her collaborations with Yann Tiersen, Radiohead and Tindersticks. Christine Ott has specialized herself in the ”Ondes Martenot”. A special instrument fabricated by Marice Martenot in 1918. The music of Ott is just as mesmerizing as the intrument itself. It’s part Satie, but because of the omnious electronic sounds and part the omnious soundtrack.
