Her new album ‘Saturday Moon’ (Glitterhouse) had to be a small and intimate album; songs with stories from all of us, recorded with a single microphone in the room. It couldn’t be that hard since we just ended up in a lockdown. More difficult than expected, because the latter has failed quite a bit in all her enthusiasm. So ‘Saturday Moon’ ended up being a colorful composition of surprising collaborations.
You can hear it: the idea with the microphone in the room was quickly shelved. And just as well, Chantal Acda’s ‘Saturday Moon’ is one to look forward to in 2021. With her new album she will be heard in PAARD!
