The English singer-songwriter Rupert Blackman moved from London to Utrecht to study on the Conservatries. Looking for bandmembers, he placed a note on the pin-up board at school. A good move, because meeting guitar player Jan Schröder, drummer Simon Boeing-Messing and bassist Robert Pronk ment Causes was born. Things went really quick when Teach Me How To Dance With You became a huge hit and they’re playing at festivals as Pinkpop, Lowlands, Concert At Sea ever since. The last tour of Causes was completely sold-out, we are happy to have them in Paard in May!

Dutch indiepopband Causes scored a huge hit with their debut single Teach me How To Dance With You in 2015, which caused their big breakthrough. Of course the hit asked for a successor and the band gave one in October 2017, when Fall From Glory was released. A melancholic and atmospheric song like you’re used to of the band. A much promising taste of their album that will be released this year.
