Kraak & Smaak: Since their foundation, these Leideners have been fully involved in the international dance scene, with a variety of successful singles, remixes and albums. Characteristic of K&S is the organic, eclectic sound based on electronica, funk and disco, an excellent nose for vocal collaborations (think of Ben Westbeech, Romanthony, Mayor Hawthorne and Parcels), and being able to pour this successfully in a renowned live setting and in DJ sets. In the meantime, the gentlemen have already arrived at album number six, ‘Pleasure Center’, the first on their own label (yes, named after the first album ‘Boogie Angst’), and there are already new singles and projects for the coming months in the stockpile.

Moods: the producer alter ego of Rotterdammer Nick Lubbersen was once the first act on BA and has since grown into an internationally renowned artist with more than 100M + streams on the counter, DJ tours in the US and Asia and radio and online tastemaker support from ao BBC Radio One, 1XTRA, Sirius XM, KCRW and Majestic Casual. Influenced by the beats and vibes of Pete Rock and J Dilla, he experienced his breakthrough with ‘Love Is Real’, after which he has since developed his initially instrumental, soulful and funky sound through many vocal collabs, culminating in the ‘Zoom Out’ album two years ago. Since then, a few new singles and remixes have been released as a prelude to a new album project on BA that will be released around this summer.

Secret Rendezvous: this Amsterdam Indie R&B duo consists of Sietske Morsch and Remi Lauw, and its main sources of inspiration are Prince, Janet Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Frank Ocean. Their 2017 album ‘For Real’ received rave reviews, they toured in the Netherlands and Europe and airplay followed on Radio 2, 3FM, the American KCRW, BBC1Xtra and Beats 1 (by Pharrell, no less!). With the release of the ‘Back In The Day’ EP on Boogie Angst, in 2020, the upward trend has continued in terms of streaming and live performances, the singles “Your Love” and “Back In The Day” received airplay on various radio stations in ao NL, the US, UK, Japan and Australia
