Influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills & Nash, First Aid Kit and John Mayer she wrote her first songs in Berlin, with just her acoustic guitar. Her trip to New York and LA inspired her in a way that led to her storm like, but exciting debut. In the meanwhile her first EP ‘One Of The Wild Ones’ was released and she performed on e.a. Pinkpop, we’re keeping our eyes open for this one!

Blackbird’s topics are celebrating life, the stress of having to choose, the search for happiness and freedom and how we can get lost during these journeys. Her songs have a nostalgic feel and are perfect for dancing the night away in the middle of summer, just to take the plane to a tropical paradise, or to blast in your cabrio with the wind in your hair, on your way tot the beach.
