Hard beats and genius raplines, Black Milk has the full package.

The rapper from Detroit is responsible for one of the best produced- and one of the better underground albums the hip hop scene knows. You don’t have to froth Black Milk: a smooth and soulful sound, smooth beat making. He pumps a fat line of bangers without any effort. Inventive hip hop with a capital I. Curtis Cross, what his real name is, is often compared to J. Dilla and produced beats for Slum Village – to call some big names. His samples come from of an ordinary corner and live-instrumentation is used in complex song structures; and it is still danceable. We have no doubts the connoisseur knows he shouldn’t miss this, especially not now his newest and sixth (!!!) album ‘Fever’ is released.

“His work has consistently earned the Slum Village associate respect within the hip-hop world.”- **** The Guardian
“All of Black Milk’s beats are cinematic experiences, but few have been as inviting and nurturing for the soul as “Will Remain.” – DjBooth over Will Remain, song op ‘Fever’.

Support: DJ Rockid b2b Fanatic

DJ Rockid decided to join a very well-known international DMC-competition 20 years ago. And how: he won for 5 years in a row. Winning the competition took him to places like New York, London and Paris, where the biggest artists were eager to work with him. And so was Fanatic. He was born with a huge love for old skool hip hop and was raised with the music. Maybe that is what distinguishes him. His energy is contagious and he is always partying with his crowd. The talent of the man didn’t go unnoticed. At May 15th the duo warms up the Small Hall as support of Black Milk: expect R&B, hip hop & classics followed up with musical excesses tot latin, dance & funk.

“ Black Milk’s flow is precise, he manages to tell a clear story without allowing the track to slip into a spoken word piece, and from the title to the final word, there is a fine grip of wordplay. “
