BEATLAB is honoured to have Caoutchou Collective to serve you some heavy weight spiced-up dishes!
Local heroes Turtle Birth and Beatlab resident Kip Gallus provide starter and dessert.

Not just the ears, the  eyes are also treated. VJ team Stuntpiloten delivers!
Caoutchou Collective is a dj formation starring the head honcho’s of the Caoutchou record label. Caoutchou records started out as a netlabel in 2008, when a group of producers from Ghent wanted to release their own music. Over the years it evolved to an international platform for challenging music with fysical releases.

The collective consists of 5 dj’s:

° NINJATO: Shaolin glitch master who combines bass heavy sound design with humongous drops. Released the well acclaimed debut album ‘Chronicles of the 6 samurai’ on white vinyl. Shared the stage with Shabazz Palaces, Uz, Doshy, Slugabed and Loops Haunt.

° STUBBORN: Veteran DJ Stubborn blends future bass, glitch-hop and juke in his own unique manner. Had the privilege to open for legendary artists as DJ Food, Onra, Gramatik and Koan Sound.

° LEFTCHEST: Founding father of the Peer Pressure festival joined forces with Caoutchou in 2011. He style is versatile: from spaced out glitch-hop, psych and grime to afrobeat, dub and elektronica. Supported acts as Machinedrum, Ital Tek, Pomrad, Herrmutt Lobby & Baconhead.

° O FOR ODETTA: One of the originators of the label. Did several releases on Caoutchou’s Rubber Beats compilations. Odetta is now retired but joins the Caoutchou Collective on occasion.

° SPAD BANKY: formerly known as Max Draztic and now Caoutchou’s studio engineer.
