Band of Horses began to attract attention in 2005 when the band opened for Iron & Wine; they were spotted by the record label Sub Pop (known for Nirvana and The Shins). The film and TV industry also really enjoys the bands music. Their most famous song ‘The Funeral’ has played in the background of many different shows and films. But also their other songs like ‘No one’s gonna love you’ and ‘Casual Party’ are very popular on TV, from shows like How I Met Your Mother to The Vampire Diaries.
