Noiserock from Avery Plains and Psycheledic grungerock from Drive By Wire on one steamy night.

Avery Plains is a melodic noiserock band, hailing from the vivid music scene in Groningen, the Netherlands. They’ve been around for a couple of years, played various festivals and clubs all around Holland. April 2013, ‘The Gloomy Ones‘-7″ was released through Subroutine Records, ‘Smells Like Trombone‘ was released as a digital single on iTunes, January 2014. It’s 2015 and the debut-album, simply titled ‘Avery Plains’ is out. It received great press (Kindamuzik, The Post Online, Planet Trash, Muzine etc etc….) and digi-airplay on Luisterpaal (VPRO’s 3v12) for 3 weeks. The ‘Smells Like Trombone’ video was uploaded to YouTube, several radio stations thought it was a single, it hit number one on the Indie Charts of IndieXL. Also, the video was nominated Best Short Film on the International Film Festival of Rotterdam in Groningen.

Drive by Wire
Dirty 70’s rock, a trip through a dusty far away desert with themes inspired by the loss of lovedones, the raw truth of life and struggles with personal deamons.
