In 2021 Antoon (19) will experience his breakthrough, a pop icon in the making. As a teacher at the Herman Brood Academy, Big2 (known from The Opposites) discovered that the multi-talented Antoon has everything: musically, creatively and with a natural appeal to the public. With his debut album ‘De Nacht is van ons’, Antoon shows that he is the director of his own success: he produces his own beats, writes his lyrics and sings all his tracks. In addition, he has a strong opinion about the art direction of For example, his video clips.Antoon & Big2 also released a joint EP ‘Heilig Water’ at the end of 2020. With ‘Hyperventilation’ Antoon scored a platinum hit at the beginning of this year and his new refreshing style came to the attention of the general public. A large fan base and millions of monthly streams led to an overcrowded festival calendar.
