Big Sur

(Spain): inspired by Canary Islands folk and the music of Tom Jobim, Sting and Radiohead, Big Sur is the musical project of singer/songwriter Borja Rojano. They are currently promoting their first single “The Guy’s a Surfer”, available on iTunes and Spotify. All the proceedings of the sales of this single will be donated to the Soul Surfers Foundation.

The videoclip for “The Guy’s a Surfer” was was shot in the beautiful island of Gran Canaria, where songwriter Borja Rojano grew up living right next to that same ocean, and where the inspiration for this song comes from. Big Sur band members are Estonian guitarist Karl Petti and Hungarian drummer Gabor Lieber.

Sahil Bahl

is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. He is a seasoned performer, having spent close to ten years performing all over LA, in venues ranging from the well known Hollywood clubs on the Sunset Strip such as The Viper Room and The Cat Club, to more underground cult venues like The Unknown Theater and The Fiyah House, to the Venice Beach boardwalk.

By pairing an innate affection for rock and folk music with a love for the classical guitar, Sahil has developed a unique style of fingerpicking, within which he exhibits a level of folk guitar musicianship that audiences most commonly associate with players of generations past, such as Nick Drake or Bert Jansch. This style of playing sets the tone for intricately structured songs of a personal and literary nature. Sahil is currently working on his debut album.

Danella Smith is a Namibian singer-songwriter who moved to The Hague in January 2012. Her music is a lively and soulful mix of folk, alternative and rock music sung in both English and Afrikaans. Lyrics are written by her, and her father.  She captures her audiences with sincere and powerful performances.  In June 2012 she combined forces with guitarist Karl Petti. Since then they have been busy producing her songs, to be recorded in a 5 song album to be released in March 2013.

DJ PJ!!!!

Komen dus…
