Soundcheck
PAARD and FunX join forces for a new concept: Soundcheck
The Hague breathes hip-hop. From local legends like Mula B and Frenna to American icons like Method Man & Redman, the city and PAARD have always played an important role in the Dutch hip-hop scene. Yet, there’s been a lack of an accessible stage for emerging artists. FunX and PAARD are changing that with their new collaboration: Soundcheck.
In a series of hip-hop nights held at the Paardcafé, new Dutch talent will get the chance to perform live — and audiences can enjoy these shows for free. FunX ensures that, in addition to performing on stage, artists also gain extra visibility through FunX live sessions, interviews, and support on their platform. After all, a successful hip-hop career isn’t just about studio hits and streams, but also about the power of live performance. Soundcheck offers up-and-coming artists the opportunity to take that to the next level.
The selected hip-hop talents are Marou & Massin, Noah YSP, Louis Pedro, and Highguest.
