Paard-talent 2026: plonki & Keenan Mundane

Every year, during Record Store Day, PAARD selects two artists from The Hague that we believe are “ones to watch.” Now we get to add two new names to that list! This year, Keenan Mundane and plonki are stepping in.

We already saw Keenan turn everything upside down last summer as the support act for Joey Valence & Brae—one of those shows where you just know: this is only the beginning.
And plonki… we’ve actually been following for quite a while. But over the past few months, everything seems to be falling into place. This weekend, she’ll be performing here at PAARD together with Fuzzy Teeth for a duo show. Fun extra detail: Pleun and Wesley are also both part of Tape Toy. It’s a small world, but that just makes it more fun.

Each year feels like a new chapter, but when you look back, you really see how special this journey has been. Names like Son Mieux (2016), DI-RECT (2018), and Maxine (2021) have already appeared on the Powered by PAARD single.
