“For me, every song feels like its own world, and I hope you get a sense of that when you listen. Some songs are written in fifteen minutes, as if they were always there. Others take a year. It remains a mysterious process, and you never have the same feeling when a new song is finished. I look forward to sharing much more,” says Thijs.
Musically, Thijs moves between a range of influences from rock, indie, pop, classical and electronic music. The themes in his songs vary: they are personal, but also reflect broader themes in society.
