With his crazy Dutch rock ‘n’ roll, Thijs Boontjes sounds like a cross between Herman Brood and André Hazes. And with this formula, he and his Dance and Show Orchestra have already visited festivals such as Down The Rabit Hole, Zwarte Cross and Into The Great Wide Open. Boontjes’ last album ‘Geen Achtien Meer’ was received with jubilation and in the meantime, he and his band have gained their place in the Dutch music landscape.
