The international folk duo The Coo is made up of songwriters Matt Arthur and Jara Holdert. Living apart in London and Amsterdam , they met by chance at an open mic night in Amsterdam. With two guitars and two voices that weave together and then drift apart, you can hear how two musical souls find each other in harmony. Their warm, melancholic love songs evoke the folk and pop of the ’60s and ’70s, reminiscent of artists like Carole King & James Taylor, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, as well as contemporary acts such as Angus & Julia Stone.
