Apart from self produced albums, Gunn also recorded music for e.a. Michael Chapman and ‘The Late’ Jack Rose.

That the American Steve Gunn has a past in Kurt Vile’s band The Violators is made very clear when you hear his melllow voice and hypnotising soundscapes. But, it comes nowhere near wordy or boring: he never loses the attention of his audiance (e.a. on Le Guess Who) because of his dynamics, a royal dash of desertsand, a bit of psych and seventies guitar. His newest album is expected in the beginning of 2019, on which he twists Americana to his own hand.
