For forty years they have been playing the stars of heaven in halls all over the world. Spyro Gyra has more than thirty records in their pocket, and this summer their newest one is “Vinyl Tap”, about which band leader Jay Beckenstein says “It’s very transportive. I would hope that when people hear our music or come to see us, they are able to share that feeling with us. That’s the truly glorious part of being a musician.”

In October we receive the iconic jazz group Spyro Gyra in PAARD! Their mix of melodic jazz fusion, RnB and pop music made them (rightly) outright superstars; one of the most successful jazz-oriented groups of the 70s and 80s. With 40 years of experience in playing, it is no wonder that Spyro Gyra has since become a fantastic and super-tight live band that guarantees an explosive and swinging show led by “frontman” Jay Beckenstein and his recognizable smooth saxophone sound.
