SONS is a Belgian four-piece rock band known for their explosive energy, raw garage rock and razor-sharp no-nonsense attitude. What started as a relentless battering ram grew into a band that can hit just as hard as it can seduce. They stack riffs on strong choruses and built a reputation with intense live shows that take no prisoners. With their debut Family Dinner and its follow-up Sweet Boy, they firmly put themselves on the map in the Benelux and beyond, with appearances at festivals such as Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop, and as support for Royal Blood and Jack White. Their sound has always been pure rock and roll, powerful and packed with big choruses and sing-along moments.
With Hallo, SONS show a new side of themselves. The explosive garage rock makes room for songs that also allow for light and colour. Producer David McCracken challenged them to dig deeper and pay more attention to lyrics and meaning. The result can be heard in the danceable and infectious single Do My Thing. SONS still sound sharp and powerful, but with more focus, more conviction and more strength than ever.
