Local support: Alumna, Son Mieux and Alex AldenSongbird Sessions presents a revue of song troubadours: Jon Allen, Roo Panes, Andreas Moe and Rae Morris.Jon Allen's first hit song 'Going Home' was immediately picked up and used for a Land Rover commercial. Concequently he toured Europe with Seal and came on Jools Holland as a guest. Since his great start as an artist he has written three albums, 'Deep River' being his most recent release. With his raw voice he creates recognizable folk songs, in which you can sometimes hear bits and pieces od The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Tom Waits. 'In Your Light' was highlighted as an 'A-list song' by the BBC and also reached the Dutch radio stations.Roo Panes is a young singer-songwriter who travels the world with a guitar in his hand and dreams in his heart. A common on-paper pitch, perhaps, and one sold a thousand times before. But Dorset-born Panes has something special to offer those willing to wait a while for their favorite songs to settle into place. His debut-album 'Little Giant' shows that he writes great songs without conforming to the recent trends. Live he plays a six- or twelf-string guitar or mandoline and presents himself like he sounds: sympathetic and honest. The Swedish Andreas Moe has been inspired by a wide variety of artists since he was a little boy. Stevie Ray Vaughan all the way to Michael Jackson. When he started conquering local stages, he started listening to Jeff Buckley, something that definitely showed in his sound. Fun fact: Andreas Moe is the voice behind Avicii's hit song Fade Into Darkness.Blackpool-born Rae Morris started her music career by opening for renowned acts such as Bombay Bicycke Club, Lianne La Havas, Noah and the Whale and Tom Odell. Her fairytale-like voice comined with her piano accompanied songs has built her up a big fanbase.
