ROOSBEEF / 17:00

Sunday 13 September 2020 2020

Roosbeef does not want to wait any longer. Therefore, a special solution has been devised to allow this show to continue. She is going to play for a smaller (seated) audience and does this show twice in one day. This month PAARD has started with small-scale performances (for a maximum of 100 visitors). On Sunday September 13, Roosbeef will play twice. She plays the first show at 5:00 PM and the second show at 8:00 PM.

With “Lucky” – Roosbeef’s fourth studio album – coming back from Kentucky is really coming home for Roos Rebergen. The hiatus since the previous record has not been unmoved. Roos went to her musical source and lived among the bluegrass for two years. The singer found more than just music there. Behind the Appalachians, she learned to understand the American song better, hearing stories that now resonate with “Lucky”.

For almost 15 years, her music has guaranteed Dutch-language, humorous pop, transverse melodies and exciting live shows. Today Roosbeef is no longer just the band of Roos Rebergen, but just as much that of Tim van Oosten, Pascal Deweze and Tom Pintens and with Lucky the band proves itself as a close and complete whole.

Support: Figgie does the support on this evening: rock-solid and groovy indie from home. As if Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Deerhunter are staying with De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, or Foals is going on holiday with Doe Maar. In The Hague you saw them at Sniester, and together with a loyal fan base, the band already conquered the Popronde, Noorderslag and music venues in all directions. On their own, Figgie has created a movement in which their twin diamond logo is proudly worn by hundreds of indie aficionados.
