RHODA SCOTT

'The bare foot organ player' comes to Paard with unique one-time show

Tuesday 13 February 2018 8364

Upcoming February, living organ legend Rhoda Scott will pay a visit to Paard in The Hague. The ‘’bare foot organ player’’ was brought up within the musical world of soul, jazz and blues, and after 70 years she still knows how to incorporate these influences perfectly into her own shows. Rhoda got her special nickname when she played the organ for the first time when she was seven and she immediately took her shoes off. Now in 2017, she still plays in the same way and she also still has the same passion and energy.

Especially for The Netherlands Rhoda will be supported by two amazing Dutch musicians. She will share the stage with sax-player Benjamin Herman, known from his solo work and from the big band New Cool Collective. The rhythmic train will be brought up to speed by Ries Doms, known from the Netherpop-beat band The Kik.

This live show is unique, never shown before and it will be the only one, only at Paard.
