PREDATORY VOID

Predatory Void emerged from a clash of contrasting backgrounds. Guitarist Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker, Living Gate), known for his atmospheric and introspective sound, began writing harsher, more immediate material during the pandemic. He brought together drummer Vincent Verstrepen (Carnation) and guitarist Thijs De Cloedt (Cobra The Impaler, ex-Aborted), musicians rooted in more direct forms of metal, alongside vocalist Lina R. (Cross Bringer) and, more recently, bassist/vocalist Kris Auman (ENDLINGR).

The result is a volatile blend of styles. Shoegaze, doom, hardcore, black and death metal held together by emotional weight and raw power. It’s a sound as haunting as it is punishing, and one that will resonate with fans of alternative metal’s current vanguard, from Ragana and Agriculture to Thou.
