Paardcafé: SCOUT & Chet

For SCOUT, it all started with words. In 2017, he wrote his first song lyrics — a step that led him away from studying architecture and toward music. Since then, he has developed his own sound that combines alternative hip hop, pop, and psychedelic rock.His debut album Scout (2021) told the story of where he comes from. With the EP littekens (2023), he gave a preview of where he wants to go. He plays his music live with a band, which creates a raw, energetic, and compelling sound.Scout is steadily building his own path, with one clear dream: to fill the Main Hall of Paradiso one day. He is currently on a release tour for his second studio album ROSALIE — a personal story about change, growth, and letting go.

Dutch-language singer/songwriter CHET creates a unique mix of 90s alternative and contemporary indie rock, inspired by Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and The Cranberries. Chet performs live with a band in the form of a power trio, whose dynamic range can vary from unadulterated punk to dreamy indie pop.
